About Dr Deanne

Ogee Facial Rejuvenation is proudly owned and operated by dentist Dr. Deanne Carr BDSc(Hons) FIADFE.

​

Dr. Deanne graduated with First Class Honours in Dentistry from The University of Queensland in 1998. After gaining valuable experience in large group practices, she established and led her own boutique general dental practice in Brisbane in 2004. She successfully managed her practice until relocating with her family to Canberra in January 2016, where she joined a group private practice in Braddon.

In 2017, Dr. Deanne embarked on her journey into Dento-Facial Aesthetics by completing her initial training with the Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics (AADFA). This training ignited her passion for this specialized field of dentistry. Since then, she has undertaken numerous advanced courses through AADFA and, in 2020, began working as a practical trainer with the Academy. Her dedication and expertise were recognized in December 2021 when she was inducted as a Fellow of the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics (IADFE) in New York.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Deanne enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and three dogs. In her free moments, she indulges in true crime podcasts and docuseries and occasionally fits in some running and snowboarding—injuries permitting!
